Wouldnt want to be wiping the bugs off when they blow, its common: My left spot burnt out at 73 miles and while bsing with the mechanic he said his blew up in the garage and spit glass 20 feet all by itself. Glad they fixed it with a smile

So what are the Dealers fixing??? I mean, its a bulb and a lense replacement. Has anyone determined why they are exploding? My GF has replaced two running light bulbs on the left front lamp on her Deluxe in less than 3K miles....

That must be it! The bulb in the left auxiliary lamp on my '12 FLHTK with 220 miles on it blew to smithereens. The glass was literally just dust in the bottom of the lens/reflector.

I keep seeing the word "left" in lots of the posts. Does it not happen on the right side too? If not, I would be looking at something that is not correct from the factory, not that you could ever get them to admit it.
