If you want to ride for hours in comfort get a Gold Wing or BMW. I have had an 10 EGC, an 11 Limited and now an 11 RKC. I don't want to be on any of them for hours.

I think there's a forum for you somewhere-Goldwing-Mocha Latte lovers forum or the BMW 'n Baked Brie forum, something.
He's bought 3 Harleys in the past two years and can't stand to ride any of them.

Here's my situation: I have an '11 Heritage Classic. My wife is only comfortable for the first 40 minutes. After that she complains if back and butt pain. I've switched seats (mustang even customized) and put on running boards. I'm thinking of trading up to a touring bike. For her two up comfort which touring bike do you recommend? I want her to be able to ride for hours.
go to any dealer and they will tell you `they all do that`.
It's funny... A year ago, wife wouldn't look at a HD; said they were too loud, vibrated too much and well, she didn't like the "crowd". Last April she sat on the EG, loved the way it felt (and this is a woman who's never been on a bike), and loves the ride. Her only comment when I brought it home was "finnally a woman in the family with an *** bigger than mine." Two months later she loves the bike, we ride together each morning to work and have taken a few rides (the longest, 860 miles in three days) and she isn't sore or tired. Can't say enough great things about this bike.
2011, Ultra Limited, 103, ABS, V&H 4" rounds, V&H power duels, SE A/C, SE tuner, with dyno from dealer.
I rented a FLHTK for 2 days before I bought one. I came home with it and took the wife on a really nice bike road in the fall. She told me that "this was the only type of HD I was allowed to buy!" LOL. I bought one this spring and love to ride it everywhere I can. She gets really envious when she can't come with me!
Hey, a happy wife makes a happy man!

They're all the same, mine even bought her first leather jacket! Now you see how much time we lost...

I would be willing to bet I could stay on my Limited (in comfort) just as long as someone could stay on a GW/BMW... I think the Limited rides like a cady on 2 wheels. How could someone say the EGs aren't comfortable? Someone throw me a bone, what am I missing here??? You got to love when someone makes a bonehead comment...

I agree and I'm on a Street Glide. Maybe I'm hardened from all those shovelhead years, but I prefer to be on my bike, not off it. Even two up, we have no issues pushing 600 mile days back to back, in fact, leaving for the Georgia coast from Wisconsin next week, 1173 miles, two days, unless of course, rain and road construction intervene.
I bought an 09 Road King and an 09 Ultra in 2009. The King was for me solo and the Ultra was for 2-up. At some point I thought I wanted to sell the Ultra and keep just the King. My wife had a fit and said I was not going to sell "her" Ultra unless I was buying another Ultra. I now have a 10 Limited that is "her's" I guess and a wide glide for me. Go rent an Ultra and ride with your wife on it. My guess is she will be as sold as my wife is.

+1 on the bonehead comment. We ride with one couple on a GW and they want to stop every hundred miles to prevent "butt fatigue". There's a lot of Harley touring bike riders we ride with until the tank is empty, fill up and keep going. 220 miles without stopping is normal. Just last week we rode from 630am to 9pm at night riding the twisties up the PCH 1/101. Some people are just not cut out for touring no matter what kind of bike
