Levers

This may sound like a stupid question, but what's the difference between the levers on a '94 Road King & the newer '96 & up models ?

I'm not sure of all the changes, but one thing different is that the newer bikes have a clutch lever designed to actuate a switch for the clutch interlock. It keeps the bike from being started in gear. I know my '07 Night Train had it, not sure when it actually started, though.

I've found a number of different levers for '96 & up, but hardly anything for the earlier bikes. I have a number of friends with newer Kings & the levers on their bikes look the same ( with-out taking them apart ).

The controls on the '94 are the old style. The newer ones are a bit more rounded/smooth.

Not sure if the levers fit them or not. Easy to swap out a lever, ask one of your buddies....
