03 FLHT front brake bleeding
Thanks all !
Then down into a baby food jar or similair. The "loop" keeps the bubble above the bleeder port.
Squeeze the lever (pump it up" as best you can, open bleeder, and you'll see fluid and bubbles come out..
The bubbles will stay at the top of the tube and will not be sucked back in.
Close the bleeder and repeat. Fill reservoir and repeat. When you start getting solid fluid you can leave the bleeder open and watch the bubbles rise in the tube.
It does take awhile but works very well. Also bleed the furthest caliper first.
Have done this several times when I had a brake problem myself.

Don't kill your self bleeding-there is lots of dead air space in these calipers making fronts hard to bleed. After the vacuum bleed, with the rez cover back on, tie the brake lever to full brake, turn bars one direction to full lock and tap the calipers with a rubber mallet 30-40 times. Turn bars to other side and repeat. Let it sit overnight with the lever tied up, tapping the calipers and thumping the brake lines while you smoke and drink with shop buddies. Re-check the rez in the morning and fill as needed. You will have the tightest front brake on the block- guaranteed.
This certainly did work I have to give thanks.I will get to repeat the whole thing when I change the lines, hopefully this week.Amazing !! thanks again.
