I am 5'9" and have them pulled back about 3" from fairing. I love these bars although PITA to run wires. Plus 4 clutch cable was perfect ran like factory. Brake line was ok just repositioned line fitting at reservoir more downward.

I'm 6'5" and have the 10" MBB pushed as far up to the fairing as they can go without contact with the tank. I have long arms so that's where I wanted them, if it was a simple process to move them back an inch I would but that's not in my resume'. I also went with a +3" clutch cable.

I think when I had mine close to the fairing it use to hurt my wrists because of the angle of were it put the grips, pulled back helps the back and it puts my hands at a better angle.

Angry, not at all, it just amazes me that some people would rather suffer during their rides because they want to look good. I guess I'm way past the form over function debate and don't care what anyone thinks or says as long as I'm comfortable doing what I'm doing.

Also, the pole paid for a college education and I bought my SG with the money I didn't have to put out...
