New HD owner here, so I apologize if this information is already in a thread on here.
I'm thinking about adding the HD CB - would like to know what all I need to buy to make it happen. I've seen posts talking about Boom!, but when I checked out HD's website, it looks like it's not compatible with my radio.
You'll need a CB module, watch the touring classified section, guys take them off their Ultras and sell them..
Need a Non-Ultra overlay harness.
boom audio kit that includes the wiring to hook up your headset...and the left switch that will have the PPT button...you can buy either single or dual setup.
Antenna kit.
Headset(s).
I think that's it....
The components are the same and they should fit without a problem. I did this for a friend on an '11 and my 09 FLHX! It is a few dollars more than the J&M unit, but much cleaner and it seems to work better.

What did you read on HD's website? I ask because HD's website info is not entirely accurate.
Stang provided a link to what I did. For your bike, you'd use the 77108-09A kit, CB module, non-Ultra Overlay harness (70169-06A), and the CB antenna of your choice (HD or J&M).
Curious to know if you actually proceed; most don't because of the cost involved.
I installed the same parts on his Road Glide Custom. His is an 11. We had no issues using the parts listed that I used. (same as HarleyPingman) 76416-06C, 77108-09, 70169-06A and an antenna. I chose the J&M to have it hidden in the fairing. My buddy chose to keep his in the stock location out the back of the bike.
Secured the CB - thanks for your help. Undecided regarding the antenna, mainly because I can't find the part number(s) for HD antenna setup (mounting it opposite the AM/FM/WB antenna on the right part of the fender where the black plastic blank cover is) - does any one have the part number(s) for this?
