Well I finally did it, I finally convinced myself to do a 21/18 combo. Actually I called yesterday, then again today! Talked to Robert. Great guy, answered all my questions, even let me sleep on it to make sure I got what I wanted. (I was deciding between two distributors and styles) needless to say I feel like a kid waiting for christmas morning now. I ordered the Torque 7's. Will post pics when they get here.
I'm in the process of researching to buy wheels too....why'd you go with 18 as opposed to 17. On mobile site so not sure what your bike is.
Sweet looking wheels !!
My bike is a 2006 Electra Glide. A 21/18 is the common setup. I'm sure others will have a better answer, but I have read that some with 2009 and up models have had problems with wobble running an 18 rear with a 200 mm tire.
Hog Pro is a first class operation. Dealt with Phil many time and customer service is first and foremost for those guys. I had an '06 with a 21/18 wheel combo and it handled perfect. My '09 Roadie has gone from a 21/17 to a 23/17 and not I am at a 26/17 combo. All three combos handle perfectly. My current 26/17 can be ridden at 90 MPH one handed without one bit of shake or wobble. Yes, I have also heard of ill handling with an 18 rear on the newer chassis. Congrats on the new wheels and purchase from HP. Enjoy & ride safe.

I'm hoping besides looking great this will also cure a slight front wobble I sometimes get around 83 mph. After I first noticed it, I called the previous owner to see if he ever felt it. e said it started after he had the new metzelers installed. The bike has spoke rims. There where a lot of loose spokes which I tightened myself. That seemed to help, that and running 45 psi in the rear.
I have been dealing with Paul. Reading the previous posts, seems like the crew out there is a good group of guys. I couldn't ask for a better rep than Paul, knowledge and people skills are super. I wouldn't buy anywhere else, getting ready to order a 23" Heathen for Street Glide Trike project currently in the shop.

Generally on the baggers up to 2008 we recommend the 18" rear but starting in 2009 with the new frames we recommend the 17" rear. The main thing you want to avoid on the 2009 and newer baggers is a 200 tire on a 18 x 5.5" wheel. 200 tire on the 17 x 6.25" works great.
I got them Friday. i missed the brown truck delivery, so I had to pick them up after 8 pm, or wait till Monday. That was a no brainer. Started the front wheel that night. I've had my front wheel on and off a few times all ready, so wasn't going to be a problem to swap. Clearance for fender seemed ok, but I drilled out the rear mount holes and til anyway just to be safe. Put it back together got to the calipers and one would not go on. I'm like what the ? Anyway, was passing midnight and I had to be up at 3:45am for work. Hit me during that short night, I had the spacers swapped. Saturday: Fixed Friday nights mistake. Never changed the rear before, turns out, its not that bad. Turned out great! Sits a lot higher than I want, even with the 1" lowering block drop. Next project I guess. I'll try and get some better pics soon.
