Default ups brought my twin slashes today

so ill be getting them on this weekend. gona give them a try without putting quite baffles in since cat remains in headpipe. after reading some post on how some have had to drill a rivet out to remove the installed baffle and the put q/b in im looking at the pipes and i see no rivet just 2 torx screws at the end of the mufflers at on bottom side . so i call v&h and ask tech about this and he says i must have the newer ones and i do not have to drill a rivet out, just the 2 screws and the pull baffle. oh well will see if i like the sound before doing that.

no drilling required, but I'll be surprised if you don't need a slide hammer to get the current baffles out if you decide to go that way...at least I did. Just a heads up.

My baffles go right in or out no slide hammer ever needed. I will say they sound pretty good, but they now sound awesome when I changed my stock head pipes to V&H True Duals!!

I have the 4" rounds and had to use a slide hammer also. Didn't like the quiet baffels but I did wrap my baffels with moose wrap, It took some of the metalic sound out of them and not much quieter. I really think you will like them!
Also I have an 09 RK with no cat . I think they are a little louder without the cat.
