i bought a 5 meter roll of rgb leds off ebay for $25, they are waterproof. And then got a 5 strip controller for $11. It took some solidering and thought on how to run them, but they look good.
Joe Florida, he swapped a controller for me with no problems. We trouble shot it over the phone and three days later I had a brand new controller and two new remotes.
Good to get feedback from others who have used LED lights. I've purchased quite a number from Florida Joe but would really like to switch to RGB 5050 SMD with 300/M and Florida Joe only has the 5050 SMD in single color. I've done bikes in single color and once you switch to RGB I can't figure out why anyone would choose single color. I guess I change my mind for color preference too often and want to see my Harley in different colors. I ended up building my own controller since I didn't like the ones on the market.
I did the ebay 5m strip in cool white. Some soldering and patience so I could put the lights where I wanted. Just wired them into the aux port under the seat. Still have to add some under the frame but it was on the jack when I did the rest of them.
I did the home made driving lights myself instead of spending over $600 on Motolights also. Suckers are very bright.
