New drive train noise???

New drive train noise???

This past weekend I rode my 2006 RKC for a short ride. Mainly rural 4 lane, 75 mph. When I got into to town, I ran up through the gears pretty hot a couple of times. I ran my errands then headed home which was another 30 miles at 75 mph. When I started slowing down I noticed a growl/roar on the left side down low, when I let off of the gas. It would stop when I accelerated. So, is it my belt making the noise? or is it something else? I have not had a chance to ride since. A bit over 20,000 miles on my bike. New rear tire put on about 1000 miles ago and bike fully serviced and inspected at that time. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would check the belt tension.

check your belt adjustment . when belt are loose , decelerating makes your engine braking ,worst is ,, it will also jump off the sprocket. if it is really really loose. good luck
