On the last day I noticed, only at idle, a slight knocking sound from the engine. Not loud but certainly noticable. Kind of like when your car keeps running after you turn it off. Increase the RPM's and it disappears. Bike still performs flawlessly. But certainly it concerns me.
I had the HD hydralic conversion done and new cams. But no other motor work.
If your oil pump is not circulating enough oil it will make a knocking sound like that. I would confirm the pressure is good then make sure theres no blockage anywhere.
