That reminds me, last week pulled up to the punp and a buddie of mine accidently got gas all over his bike. well I was laughin so hard that I forgot to look at pump and put diesel in(4 gallons). Nothin I could do but ride with it? worked ok but engine made a lot of wierd clunkin noises. anyway its been hard to find that 94 ultra at sunoco. It was the best gas around here but seems they have dis****inued it? of course can still use addatives or race fuel but dont want to mess with it.

It all depends on the brand that you use. Some folks skip the commercially available stuff and just use xylene. If you want a reliable jump in octane rating by higher octane gas instead of additives. Rocket and Sunoco both make 100 octane unleaded but there has to be a demand for it. I used to use VP 105 octane race fuel in my old Moto Guzzi but it didn't have O2 sensors. Leaded race fuel is not legal on the street and will ruin your O2 sensor.
