Not sure what you're asking, but someone removed the saddlebag crash bars and put the rear red reflectors up on the engine crash bars. Not sure they're legal to be placed in that area of the vehicle in your state but here red needs to be at the rear of the bike.

If you look where the saddlebag crash bars should be there is some type of straight aftermarket bar with a rubber cap mounted to the lower section where the OEM bar would be.

I'll be removing, relocating the red reflectors.

I see it now. Picture on my phone isn't very big, but it looks like someone actually cut the bars?

Good luck with the seat and handlebar situation it's all trial and error for personal preference.

Now to get more room with your legs you will definatly need floor board extenders that move the boards out one inch.
This will get your feet out from under the shifter and brake pads.
They are all about $40/$50 range

We also had a SOOS but I can't find him anymore

I hate Kuryakyn but they make one that goes out 1" and forward 1" ($100)

Congrats on your new RK, it's a fantastic and very versatile bike - probably THE most versatile of all the H-D models IMHO.

Seats and bars are all so individual as far as what fits or not. All you can do is experiment until you find the right combination for yourself. I've gotten all my seats from guys on the forum here in the classifieds. Just because it didn't fit someone else doesn't mean it's not the perfect seat for you. Saves you alot of $$$ too.

I don't think so, the angle is wrong and solid steel as opposed to tubular. Looks like some type of aftermarket part?

Very true! Seats & handlebars are very subjective.

Any pics of the dremel work/notching needed for the Heritage bars?
Here's a link to perform the TBW notching required for the Softail Heritage handlebars. http://www.sideroadcycles.com/Import...ckBarsOne.html

At the bottom of the page you will find the TBW notching info. Just above that you will find the measurement for the FLSTC 09-11 Heritage Classic. They say they're 13" of rise but seem closer to 12" to me. You'll need to remove the clutch cable guide attached to the windshield\nacelle but other than that, piece of cake. As far as the hole required at the bottom of the handlebars, you can see what is required when you remove the stock bars. No cable or brake line changes are required. At full right turn clock otherwise it's a little tight. I've had no issues what so ever.
It's a very affordable mod to perform for a new set of handlebars. At some point I would like to put Wild One Chubbys on my bike but $50-$60 vs $600 made it a really easy choice. Good luck with your choices & enjoy your new bike!
