Default Finally Going LED

Well, after much reading, hemming, hawing, and whining about which way to go, I finally pulled the trigger on the Trucklite Phase 7 LED headlight and passing lamps. All the reviews I've read showed me there really wasn't enough difference between TL and the HD lights to justify paying double (literally) for the Harley version. What finally pushed me over the edge was finding the entire set of 3 lights on ebay for $440.98, free shipping, no tax Can't wait to pop them in and give em a try!

I'm doing the same, Have it all sitting in the Garage right now. TL Head and passing lights, Kurakyn tail light, and Custom Dynamics LED turn signal kits. Just gotta get off my lazy *** and install it all. LOL Though I did manage to put the LED bulbs in my fender tip lights last night.

I have all three on my 11 road king classic ... the headlight is a straight forward change out...the passing lamps are a little tougher as you need a deep socket with one side cut out for the wires..and to make the aiming easier stand the bike straight up and turn on the lights and put pieces of masking tape on the wall marking the bright spots from all 3 lights (cover 2 at a time so you can see the focal point of the third on the wall), and then put tape on the floor to mark where the tire is, in case you move the bike...all in all a great improvement in lighting...

I did the HD Aux lamps & the TL phase 7 headlight on my RKC & the difference was amazing. The aux lamps need to be reaimed for max spread. The HD aux lamp directions are spot on for reaiming. I now light up tree line to tree line on a four lane divided hgwy. Also get the HD jumper wire that allows the aux lamps to stay on with high beam, big difference.

I've done all three with the TL's as well. Love them. I have the Phase 6 which is way more visible during the day. A friend just got the Phase 7 and the difference is considerable. Night time performance is great on both. The brilliant white light is amazing.

Just did the Trucklites HL & passing on mine Friday. I really like them, especially for half the price of the HD set.
