I just got a set of the Phase 7 Kuryakun lights and haven't installed them yet. I do alot of night riding. When i install these I was thinking about wiring it up so the spot lights stay on with the hi-beam.
I also run a conecction to hook up my Gerbing heated glove when it gets cold.
I have been doing alot of looking for info about the spot light wiring and it seems that many people say that this can overload the charging system to do this with the stock headlights. (some say not)
My question is will the heated gloves and the 3 light running be to much for the charging system even wth the lower power draw from the l.e.d."s
I hope to put these in today or tomorrow and have to take the fairing off the fixe a brake bracket at the same time so a quick responce would be appriciated..thanks
My heated gear is exactly the reason I switched to the LED lights so I could reduce the load on the charging system.
Me and my wife both use heated gear and I have my spots wired to stay on with my brights as well.
