2012 primary fluid

I've got a 12 Ultra Limited and I've heard most only put in just 32ozs. of primary fluid when changing. The manual calls for 38 ozs. on a change. what do most of you do ?

I use 1 qt of 10W40 MC oil plus 6oz's of 20W50 MC oil. I underfill my engine by 6oz's which puts the level above the lower mark when hot. This has fixed my oil into the air filter problem.
