Mabey a broken fork spring??
I have been hearing a "creaking" noise coming from my front end when I compress the front suspension. By creaking, I mean like an old screen door when I compress the front end. Took it to the local HD service dept. they say, mabey a broken fork spring?? My question is, is there any fluid in there? Had it there last year for leaking fork seals, which were replaced. How can you tell if the spring is broken without breaking them apart ? What would be the worst case result if you were to continue to ride with a broken spring?

I had a new front motor mount installed last year, the previous one was replaced under warranty last time I had it in for service, could it be "dry"?
