Looks like you had a great ride, i like that ride from Robbinsville down to Murphy and on down to 411 on 68/64. I shoulda done it today too, from my house it's about 53 miles to the sign on the western end of the skyway. i can be on it in about hour or so, it's a beautiful ride and doggone cold at the top..I hope while you were there that you rode out to bald river falls, it.'s really nice just outside of tellico plains a few miles.

That is beautiful country there. Hearing you talk about it make me want to ride! Next time your in the Cherokee area and have some time, hop on the Blue RidgePkwy. I believe it to beone of the best rides on the east side of the country.Especially in the fall, leaves turning, nice cool climate, the occassional smell of fireplace. Man, I gotta get back up there!

Great road. I have ridden it 3 times. I intend to ride it again in the spring when it warms back up.
Last time I rode it, it was raining and foggy over most of it but as I started down the mountain towards Tellico Plains it cleared up.
