Default High Strength Studs

I'm planning on changing out my heads and bumping the compression a bit when I do so. Heads are due back from Baisley this week I hope. Just wondering if the high strength studs are required. If so, can I pull the jugs and install the studs without having to re-ring the pistons and deglaze the jugs? I'm really not wanting to have to deal with a machine shop if at all possible. I guess that the goal would be to just pull the heads and reinstall them and leave the jugs intact.

I appreciate any help.
