Default swingarm width.

Will the 99 flhtci (Electra Glide) accept the Dunlop 402 rear tire size mu85b16?
I measured belt-tire freeplay and it is real small with the stock MT90B16.----Did Harley increase swing arm width after 1999 on this model?

Wink

No they didn't, but they changed rear pulley spacing and later went to a narrow belt. I got a 140/90 in my 1990 Glide, by trimming the rubber curtain on the belt guard. I had just 3/16" belt to tyre clearance.

I now have a 2007 swingarm, which is similar width, but with the narrow belt can easily get in a 150/80, although I am currently working on a 160/70. That is close.....
