Default Dipstick interchange??

I just had a look at my buddies new 2012 SG, I noticed the engine oil dipstick now has a raised section on the cap to make it easier to remove the dipstick, my 08 SG is a pain to get a grip on the stick to turn it, anyone know if these sticks are the same ? interchangable?

Yes they are. Changed to the 2012 on my 2011. Compaired the length before installing and they are the same. I am at work right now so I will post the part number this evening. It was $21 and change plus tax.

The Part number is:

62700026

Sorry for the delay.

It can be found in the 2012 transmission case with pan page at Ronnie's web site.

Because the Harley web site is accessories, not parts (even tho the link says "parts"). If its not considered an accessory, it doesn't come up.
