Rode to Sturgis last year, had a blast. Wanted to ride there again with a friend who had never been, but in May he had to have a 6 bypass heart surgery, and the docs said he could ride, but not that far. So we're still gonna go, but trailer it this year.
So the next time you want to bag on those trailering (I used to be one of them!), keep in mind that there just might be a legit reason for it ....
Thanks for your unselfish and dedicated service for our Country. And for me! So that I can ride free in a country safe because of outstanding individuals like yourself. I'm not going to Sturgis this (been many, many times) as I have other commitments, but know that you and your fellow servicemembers are in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep your head down, and come home safely to enjoy the values you protect. God Bless America.
Hey WireDawg, the wife and I may or may not be there this year, haven't decided for sure. Either way, thanks for your service (from a Canadian), we'll drink a beer in your honor, and pop a couple of them brown heads for us when they stick them up outta the sand.
Thank you for your service!!!!! I know how hard is to be away from home and from your harley. Just came back from afghanistan a few months ago. Stay safe, we want you to come back in one piece!!!! hooooraaaa!!!!
Thanks for taking over the reigns. I was in the sand box last year and missed Sturgis. I feel your pain. A couple of friends and I plan on leaving Colorado Springs on the 4th. They are gonna stay for a while and then head up to ND. I think about 3-4 days is enough for me. Stay safe Brother. I won't wait until Sturgis, I'll have one for you now.................
