My record is 3 miles with a loaded up GS750 LOL!

Still doesn't give excuse to the HD dealer though...

cheers

I know. Mile in my case too by the way.

You're THE man. You could make a lot of money in the NFL. I don't like pushing my motor out of the garage.

Orlando Harley is 100 yards off the highway separated by a big fence. It would probably be a mile of pushing in heavy four lane traffic.

The distance was not the issue, as mentioned there is a fence and pushing along an interstate in that area is not a wise thing to do.

Doesn't matter who he spoke with. A biker in need is a biker in need. I stop and pull off the road safely whenever I see someone on a bike that could use a hand. I'm no mechanic but I always ride with a mobile phone on me. I have AAA motorcyle coverage but if need be, I'll pay the dime to have the towing service get the stranded bike safely off the highway to a repair facility. Just plain bad form, H-D or not. Good to hear that a real biker did come to assist. Bravo Zulu, he's the man!

I'm a local too. I surely spread the word around.

Had a very similar situation several months back when my 2012 FatBoy broke down a couple of miles away from my dealer....on Saturday. Not only did they send their trailer to get me, they asked the tech's to fix it right away so my entire weekend would not be "bikeless".
Gator Harley-Davidson, Leesburg Florida. These guys are the real deal.
