Default stator ?

I am having my indy replace the tranny seal and primary what ever else is necessary to stop oil leak from primary side. I know oil is coming from tranny by the color of the shock proof. I am hearing a little tang kind of noise every now and than when I am under a load going up hill say from fourth to fifth and was wondering if I should have stator replaced at same time . Not exactly sure what noise is will have indy do test run and try simulate the condition i was under this weekend

Thanks for any advice

I have an 06 with a 95 bore dun last winter put the se clutch spring upgrade in
hq 34 gear dr cams

Dont have all tools or a lift nor the important part a garage to work in to try this myself have manual but figured I would leave this one to the experts

Im trying to understand what do you think the stator would have to do with your issues, are you having any kind of electrical problems?
