'06 EG Classic w/uncoated cast aluminum wheels (stock, by the way). 20,000 miles on bike. Rear wheel was filthy, pitted with belt residue. Tried everything that AutoZone and Advance had to offer but couldn't get the wheel really clean. Found Lane's New Aluminum Cleaner, only available online and not cheap: $18/qt plus $8 freight.

OMG!!! Wheels look like they just came from the showroom. Stuff is absolutely amazing. FWIW, best aluminum wheel cleaner on the market!!!

I have chrome-plated aluminum on my Limited Ultra. Looks like covered with brake dust. 1 of the techs at a dealer told me about Colonel Brassy that he uses. I'll keep this stuff in mind if the C.B. doesn't help. Thanks.
