Thanks Gilbos440rt and Phil. I'll be fine. This will be my 7th tour over there, no worries. I feel more at risk riding in the DC traffic here. LOL
How long once you placed your order for the pipe to arrive? I ordered mine right after Christmas. They mentioned that they would call me prior to shipping it. Not worried, just curious as to when I could expect it.

I ordered mine 12/29/06 and it came in Saturday 1/13/07. Best of luck to you while gone!
Thanks. Mine should arrive anyday now. If so, I might just wait and install it when I finish the engine.

All of these exhaust systems were sold off mainly because of the sound. Either too loud for this bike or just not the sound Iâm looking for. Iâm still not 100 % satisfied with the sound of the current set-up. But, I find it the best compromise of sound and being able to listen to the radio. The current set-up of V&H Dresser Duals with RUSH 2â mufflers has produced the most hp and torque where it needs to be in the cruise range. It is also the quietest and easiest to listen to the stereo along with being the best looking IMHO. The best fit and finish goes to the D&D Fatcat hands down, then followed by the BUB Rinehart True Duals and the V&H Dresser Duals with the RUSH mufflers. The worst for finish was by far the T-Rex. Worst I have ever seen on anypart. Worst customer support goes to Hard Chrome, then V&H in second place. Best customer service goes to BUB, period. Worst pre-sales help goes to D&D, they could not give a chit about helping you out. Best pre-sale help goes to BUB & RUSH.
I did the same swapping of exhaust systems on my last Dyna. I finally settled on a set of V&H Big Radius pipes with the stock baffles. Not the best performance but man did they sound good.
