Default Dumb rube question..

Hello all and thank you in advance......
Would a new street glide that does NOT have ABS have an ABS light on the gauge?
I ask cuz I bought one and I was told it didn't have abs, but thes a light on the tach that has the ABS symbol.

Thanks and I apologize for my ignorance

The cut-out for the light will be there, but it will never light up (they use the same plate for ABS and non-ABS motors).

Yes it would still have the light in the guage, but it shouldn't ever come on. If it has ABS the light will flash when the bike is setting still and go off when the bike is moving. The flashing is supposed to let you know its still working.

Welcome to the Forum.
And I run a NON ABS street glide, the cut out for the ABS light is there, and it has never lit up.
