Pontiac you are a WINNER! Now, have you checked your front tire for cracks in the sidewall? If not you might check it. Might as well make one trip instead of two

Now theres problems with the 2012 touring tires? on my 11 wideglide i had front tire issues with them peeling. dealer never hear this was an issue with the dunlop tires but they put a new one on for me. that was at like 500 miles my tire had chuncks missing.

i don't think they can sell the bikes if they haven't had the 'program' done.....

but yeah, its easy enough to look on the regulator of the new bike and see.

Some product campaigns may have expired and you may have to pay for the service. Please see your local Harley-Davidson dealer for further details.

I guess i will call my dealer.
One problem is: it's not being called a "recall" it's a "program" so yes call your dealer.
He get's a list with everyone's name on it that they sold a bike too.

I just about my bike under 4 weeks ago at my dealership so I should ask them about it as well. I'm also part of the "program" and not part of the recall.

YES! forum brother dlongo8241 started a thread about this. I went out and checked...sure enough I had a dry-rot looking split all the way around the right sidewall of my front tire. Replaced N/C with only 2800 miles on it. Did the regulator 2 weeks before that. Check it so you know!

My SG was in the recall range for the regulators, but upon checking my regulator it was not in the recall batch. It depends on the bin or pile they took your regular out of when the bike was born.....my regulator was OK...and yes they removed it from the bike and checked the numbers on the back of the regulator....
Didn't know about the tires....

The regulator and watch the tires. Anything else. I'm actually trading my 2010 ultra on a 12' rk this weekend.
