Ditto, had one, gave it away to a buddy. Definately not an all day seat....and I suppose riding on the back would be better than walking across death valley....in August. Looked good though.
I've had Badlanders on just about every bike I have owned, and they weren't too bad, and better looking than just about every other MoCo seat.
Have a Stripper on my RK now. Never saw another one on any touring bike; Harley made 'em but they weren't in the catalog, so many people don't even know they existed for touring bikes. Real leather, looks like a giant leech, & Pretty comfy for a slinky seat, and about the best looking seat you can put on a touring bike. Here is a pic.
I had a badlander on my 09 RK. It was fine to me. I have one on the Crossbones as well. Did fine on 500 mile days. Mean City Cycles can also do some miracles on the Badlander.
i had one on my SG, it is low and kinda hard but overall its pretty comfortable, its not a seat for touring thousands of miles at at time. i have a cvo seat now and love it for looks and long haul comfort
I've had one on every bike I have had since 2001. I love them, and yes I leave mine on even when riding cross country. Done many an 800 mile day on mine.
stuck one on my SG at a dealer, sat down, stood the bike up, leaned it back over on the stand and took it off. didnt even bother with the test ride. looked cool but felt like i was sitting on a rock wall.
