Can I use another brand of oil other that Harley? It is $12.95 a qt., that is crazy!

I don't think I would chance it. HD dealers have a special sensor that can detect oil other than HD. If the sensor doesn't confirm HD oil they are allowed to rip all the Harley badges off of your bike and your warranty is toast!!! Word on the street is, if you put in at least one quart of HD oil with whatever else you are running it will fool the sensor. Good luck!!!

Brace yourself Tony. This is only the beginning.

(The real answer is yes, use the brand you prefer.)
