Did the brake pad replacement on my 2000 Electra Glide Classic and now the Brake lite on the back of the bike, stays on constantly. I can hear what appears to be the switches clicking on the front and rear brake when the controls are engaged. I flushed the lines with new brake fluid and the brakes are working great. But the lite is on constantly
Could be your front brake lever is not fully engaging the brake switch with your hand off the lever. Does the brake handle have some play in it? If so, check the lever and switch action by pushing the lever forward. If the brake light goes off by pushing the lever forward or engaging the switch with a thin blade, then try re-bleeding the brakes again to attempt to close the gap.
Sometimes the cylinder of the master cylinder becomes corroded and doesn't allow for full travel of the brake lever. If this were the case, I would think you would have had similar symptoms along with poor brake performance prior to your brake change.
