hey guys i need some knowledge and this is the best place to come to ok here we go i have a 2000 FLH and was wondering if a 1998 or a 1999 complete clutch hub interchange with the 2000 it has the complete hub - basket-friction plates-metal shim plates-pressure plate everything .i have one but not sure its interchangable . my clutch basket has a crack in so need to change before Ka-blouie Bang- Boom

It also depends on whether they are both FI or carb bikes, the FI bikes 37 tooth pulley & carb bikes 36 tooth pulley for the primary chain. FI 24/37= 3.37 gearing, carb 25/36= 3.15 gearing.
The parts finder I use, Ronnies HD, says the part # is the same37707-98, but the # for the 2000 is a 37707-98A. This usually means they will interchange, but the "A" means there is some kind of update, if there is a major change it gets a new part#. Price is the same for both.
skratch i asked because i found 2 complete clutch assemblies at a salvage motorcycle shop and its a whole lot cheaper than buying from Harley both of these are 150.00 complete with primary chain and even the tensioner is why i asked for interchangability one is off a 1998 other is off at 1999
