Default road king wind

I have a 06 road king no headlight visors no windshield and I get hit by yje wind sumthing crazy. It gets so bad my girls glasses have been blown off while sitting behind me. Now my question is this normal for the RK? Besides a shield or batwing is there anything I can buy to help cut the wind a lil bit would headlight and turn signal.visors help at all? Thanks in advance

It's normal for any bike above 55mph.
I occasionally ride without my windshield, and there's a world of difference.

Why do you think the RK has a windshield from the beginning? You ain't the first guy to ride a bike.

If you don't want to get a windshield you should consider the triple tree deflector and possibley the downtube (or walrus teeth) deflectors. They might help some? But I think the walrus tooth deflectors look like butt. I really don't think headlight rings or visors will really do much however.

Yeah, I agree. I absolutely can't handle riding mine without the shield. You afraid somebody might think you are un-cool with a shield?

Same here, about the only time my RK doesn't have the windshield on is if I'm just putting around town running a few errands. Any lengthy riding or at higher speeds it definitely goes on!

plus riding with no windshield is just asking for trouble, have seen many posts on here where the windshield saved somebody from getting hit by something, and if you have your kids on the back, there would be no way I would have any of my kids on my bike with no windshield.
