If you're asking for the part #'s to the new latches, they are right in the pics. They are not out yet and won't be until the summer dealer meeting coming right up in Aug

Sorry, my bad, I work for the military and our filters take out most pics. At home now and can see them now. Thanks again for all your help and valuable input

One of mine disintegrated riding along the Niagara River by the falls.
The second one was better! We were at the Harley Museum early one Saturday, and as I was closing the latch it came off in my hand. I looked up, and Willie G was walking across the lot about 10 feet away. I walked up to him and smiled and held out my hand to shake his, with the latch in my palm. I left it in his hand and we both chuckled a bit.
Can someone explain what is different about the "upgraded" latch? One of mine fell off yesterday, though I didn't lose it. There was a gawdawful rattling as I pulled in at work and when I went to put my lid away it fell of in my hand. Tried Gorilla Glue and it didn't hold. Fell apart again this morning. Innards seemed to be part plastic? The other one seems to have one screw won't tighten as well, so it's a matter of time. Called my dealer and he didn't seem to know about upgrades. All metal? Why they breaking suddenly, anyhow?
