Default Deceleration popping

I am wondering if any of you have this issue, I have a 2012 RK, I recently added astag one air kit new Vance and Hines big shot pipes and a Screaming Eagle super tuner.

My bike runs great but it seems that every time I let off the throttle I get some popping, nothing big or loud but it seems that it does it every time no matter how fast I'm going.

I had the deale rdo the tuning because I found out after I bought the tuner, you don't get the disc or cables needed to do it yourself, not that I could have. Anyway is this a normal deal with these types of pipes or can I get it tuned in a little more where I don't get as much popping?

Also check your exhaust for leaks as this will cause the popping on decel.

cheers

+1 .. even a slight leak will cause this .. Spent a bundle getting tuned to perfection and all it was a slight leak at the muffler clamp .. If no leaks, a slight crackle at Decel may be no problem ..

As others have said exhaust leaks, even slight can cause that condition. And no, properly tuned that is not normal. Questions for you;

Does the popping vary with air temp?

Does the popping vary with RPM at decel?

I belive that it is mostly popping at RPM changes, the wather has been pretty steady here for the last month or so. Sothern Indiana, mostly low to mid 90's

If there is a leak at the head, does anyone know what the torque is for a 103 motor?

I added 5% more fuel in the 0% throttle tables from 750-1250 RPM....that handled it nicely.
