check engine light

I am not having the best luck with my 07 street Glide this year. Now I have the check engine and battery light on and the volt meter is down to just under 12v. I am thinking voltage regulator or stater. Does anyone have any ideas? The real trick will be getting it in and fixed with Sturgis coming up. Thanks again in advance.

Check and make sure the battery connections are tight. Check the codes to see what the engine light code says. Test your charging system and go from there.
