ok i have a seat guy going to do some work on my seat ,,,i cant stand my stock seat but im not sure if i should change my seating position (EI lower or back ) memory foam ,,,or gel pad,,,so many decisions
I'm told Mean City Seats does a good job of altering stock seats to fit your butt and back. You may want to check 'em out. I'm sure Google can take you to their website.
Sorry. I re-read your post and it says you're having a ''seat guy'' alter your seat. I should have read it closer. Anyway, if your guy doesn't work out you can try what I suggested above.
Hope your "seat guy" knows what he's doing. I've heard & seen some real horror stories on what some guys who claim they know what there doing, have done! Motorcycle seat & auto upholstery 2 different animals. Before I'd do anything to a stock seat, I'd call Allen at Mean City Cycles & pick his brain a bit. I'm happy with my C&C seat and have never done business with Allen but, he's got a great reputation.
i did call mean city cycles ,,, but there are so many choices
today i spoke to the guy at MCC and we had a long talk he said i should let him narrow my seat and he was talking about doing some " tale bone relief " also,, i just have tpo ship it to him ,,,,,,,, then i have to wait for it to get back
