If anyone thinks that Sears lift is stable, you should see my Pitbull lift. You can lift it, and then two people can climb onto the seat and it never moves and isn't tied down. Amazingly stable. That video of the Sears jack is terrifying!!!

Come on now, none of those jacks are what you could describe as 'stable' ('wildly stable'? Really now.). They're great for washing bikes and light mechanicals but pretty lousy for oil changes.
