I have the same thing on my 05 RK Custom. It was fine until I took off the little
air deflector attached to the bar clamp cover. Now it's whistles dixie between
40-50 MPH. Of course it only happens with the windshield on.
Guess I'll have to check my trim ring, never thought of that since it only happened
after taking the air dam off. My trim ring is very tight, no gap at all, so that has
me wondering what's going on. (nothing new) haha
I think sometimes in the past you made a mistake at work. Someone has installed a whistleblower on your bike. I find that a crafty way of letting the cat out of the bag without incriminating yourself.
