I had to pull my battery to hook up my Ward cooling fans. When I hooked everything back up the Tach/speedo combo shows low fuel and has no fuel level at all.
How do I reset this to get my fuel gauge and my distance to empty working?
What kind/year bike you got? My crystal ball is cloudy. I would cycle the ignition switch a few times and see if that resets the gauges. Is anything else wacky? Did you check fuses?
On my 09 UC, if I disconnect the battery my "miles remaining", or my trip meter readout does something screwy like that.

Did you reinitialize your Thundermax? It's in the instructions, & you should have the warning posted on/near your battery.
Fire it up and see how she idles.....I had a similar problem and being that I forgot to PULL THE ECM FUSE prior to disconnecting the battery, the Thundermax got really messed up. My ride would barely idle, under a load it would backfire so I knew it was bad....I wound up having to treat the tuner as if it were a new install, and reprogramed from scratch. Needless to say I pull the darn fuse now before doing anything with the battery or the master fuse.
My digital read out went whack when my battery ran low when my voltage regulator took a crap. The dyno tech ended up having to reconnect the original brain again to recycle the speedo. Put the thundermax in and everything was fine.
