Thanks everyone. Any one mod or bling that's a must on this bike? I've been riding long distance for years so not only want a bike that is comfortable but also great looking and functional. I did add heated grips, which I feel should come standard on any touring bike as I frequently ride in conditions that are much cooler than the average. My next planned trip is Nova Scotia and of course Sturgis although this year I may go the week before to get more riding time in. By the way, of all the bikes I've owned Black was not only the fastest but also the coolest.
I think you will find the stock seat to be pretty uncomfortable after a couple hundred miles, so the first mod I would recommend is an upgrade to an HD Sundowner or some other aftermarket seat. A backrest is also a VERY nice addition for touring and the stock hand grips are crap. After that, I would say ride it for a while, look at other guy's bikes and see what you like/need/want. You may decide you want new pipes, handlebars, chrome this, and chrome that .... or you may decide stock is great.
In any case, take it easy during the break in period, then ride the sucker like ya stole it. You're gonna love it.
Power commander III , and pipes ,are a Must . Congrats , on the nice ride.

Yes it's an 06 FJR and Ilove riding it as well. Nice sport/touring bike and takes on twisties like no other bike I've owned. Can ride very aggressive, you just think it and your there.
