mine peeled right off, if you peel it off slow it takes the adhesive with it. The little bit of glue that was left i used wd-40 to clean it up

This. W/O the fishing line stuff... Just heat it up a bit and pull...

Honestly, so simple...

WD40 is great to get the sticky stuff left behind.

Then do this for safety--

Slowly moved them back and forth, front to rear by hand and came right off. Zippo lighter fluid on a soft rag removed the residue.

Looks waaaay better.

I went for a ride on a 95+ degree day, got home, let it sit in the sun a little longer, then went out and pried them off with a putty knife (without touching the forks), then used my thumb and finally WD-40 to finish it off.....THEN 3 months later, went with chrome forks!! LOL!!
