I think you could take the Hammer, pull the badges off (and if you want to go crazy, do something witht the victory indents on the tank) and tell most people it's a full off custom pro-street and they'd buy it..
I think Victory knows they can't possibly emulate an HD bagger so why bother trying. They are going after the sport touring market like the Beemer and the other metrics like the Yamaha FJR.
One of my buddies is in the market for something like that. Tried to steer him toward a road glide but he likes those sport tourers. I sat on all of them at the MC show last week and I think they would give me leg cramps cause you're bent at the knees too much and can't straighten out your legs.
