I figure my 2011 RGU in perfect condition with 23000 miles on it is worth at least several thousand over book and the new 2013 RGU I want to trade on is worth at least a couple thousand under msrp just need to find the right dealer who thinks like me lol.
the brake thing must be in the moco handbook, local dealer changed my rear tire when i got the bill they added rear brakes,i refused to pay as i didn't authorize the repair,3 months later when trying to make a deal, they tried to tell me it needed rear brakes.i hit the roof.and they got no deal.

I'd say that's about right as long as it includes $2000 in new accessories. If not, I'd tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine. LOL!
They are so used to dealing with people who don't know anything about their bikes that they would have believed every word out of their mouths......People like yourself are not common so you threw them off.....good job
SBW, I live about 10 miles from Barbs. I went through the same treatment with them in 09. I ended up buying my SG from Mills. That was the second bike I bought from them. Barbs was real good about giving test rides but the experience fizzled shortly after. I never felt screwed dealing with Mills. When Mills closed in 2010 I was force to deal with another service dept. Salem county HD closed so they were out. So We are left with Barbs. In the past 2 years I dealt with Barbs about 3 times for recalls and Warranty work. With out getting into detail I have not been even a little happy with them. My last experience was 2 weeks ago and the work that was done bordered on incompetent. Also my bike ALWAYS leaves there more dirty than when it was taken there. I'm done with BARBS!!!!
If so many people are in agreement with Barbs being a horrible dealership how come HD hasn't been made aware of this by now? If I owned HD I would want to know feedback about every dealership out there and how they are performing. Isn't there a way that we that have had a bad experience can easily provide feedback to HD about dealerships? I'm sure after a few of the comments reaching HD about the same dealership you would hope that it raises an eyebrow or two up at headquarters and they come down on the dealers.
Damn! All this just convinced me to ride what I have until it rusts out from under me. We know they all work for the owner / MoCo but what happen to honesty and respect! Oh, that's why they close the doors! We know that - too bad they just don't want to make an honest buck.
