Default intercom questions

I have a 2011 FLTRX Road Glide Custom , I do not have the stock stereo system , my wife and I both use 1/2 helmets , I have a Garmin Nuvi 1300 we use occasionally , the Garmin says it is bluetooth capable , is there a intercom system that will work with 1/2 helmets for driver to passenger communication and is compatible with my Garmin so I can hear it in my ear piece too , I don't really need any other features and prefer wireless because I don't want to hard wire anything as I would only use it a few weeks a year THANKS

I can not speak from experience as I am interetsed in the similar thing on an SG, but I believe this company's http://www.cardosystems.com/us/scala-rider products would work, and they have an adapter for 1/2 helmets.

Check out the reviews at http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-intercoms/ . Lots of info on lots of systems. Most systems want a full or 3/4 helmet for mounting their systems and speakers, some have some the flexibility to plug in earphones instead. You could always cut the earphone cord and wire your own preference for earpieces. Not sure I've seen any systems that work with a standard bluetooth cellphone headset. Would wonder if wind noise would create problems with a standard bluetooth headset.
