The only concern I have is the peeling of the coating. Airborne350G may post some pics of this problem. I am anxious to see them. The other option is the S&S Power Tune Duals where the right pipe goes under the bike to the left side. This will minimize the heat to the left leg and a passenger. But these are not True Duals because they have a hidden crossover.
I have these and they seem to run a touch cooler but then as I read from some other posts if you were running at a 1000 degrees and are now running at 700, would you really know a difference?
I like them so far and they do seem cooler. Have not seen any peeling but they only have a few thousand miles so far......
Go with Drago's pipes. They are similar to Rush but they perform better and he is a sponsor of the forum.
and what Rush isn't a sponsor?
my buddy has the rush pipes on his 12 limited and says he can feel a big difference, and we have them on the wife FatBoy and she can feel a big difference
but you have to ask by taking out the CAT how much heat does that alone remove from your leg
but it seems like the guy with the problem should be contacting RUSH for a warranty issue, cause I have never seen that be a problem
Rush stands behind their parts and is sending out a replacement header and will include a pre-paid return label for the one I have. Cannot ask for any better customer service.

Well excuse me! Why not go with Drago's? They perform better than the Rush. Why are you quoting me and bitching because I didn't say Rush is a sponsor? If I thought the Rush pipes were better, I'd tell the guy to run Rush pipes but what do I know, I only work on bikes and tune them for a living.

So now you want somebody to shop for you? List price they are about even. To my mnowledge Frank only sells his pipe direct. Rush does offer theirs through some discount outlets. The pipes are not the same as Frank designed his pipe and contracted with Rush to produce it. Both are ceramic coated and both are quality products.
