I have a 2012 Street Glide
The bike has OEM 12" shocks on the rear and stupid 1" block lowering kit.
This allows me to be flat footed on the ground also I ride 2 up a lot. I have been looking how to lower the rear of the bike and get rid of the lowering blocks .
What about arnott air ride. ?
Can I lower the shocks 1"? And still have a smooth ride or do they need enough air in them to keep them at there 12"height opinions welcome
I went with Progressive 412 heavy duty 11.5 inch shocks, combined with Road6 lowering blocks. My ride is firm with my preload set above midpoint, but I ride 2 up most of the time and it is all good. No free lunch, you want a lowered bike then be prepared for a firm ride. Look to Bitchinbagger if you want your stock shocks lowered, they have a good history here.
