What shocks both lower and give comfortable ride I have read some threads and most talk about handling
I am not trying to keep up with the sport bikes but
Would like a ride close to as good as my 09 ultras factory
ride. Thanks
M

Well, the Street Glide shocks will work. My buddy and I traded shocks when we first got our bikes. I now have the 13" and he has the 12".
I swear his bike rides smoother than mine, but it does bottom out more regularly. It's all a trade-off.
I run Progressive 940 shocks and the lowered monotube fork cartridges, nice ride and lower
My wife is with me every other time I ride do I have change settings every time or
can I just leave it like I do with stock suspension?? also what about pulling a trailer ??
My 06 RG was lowered in the front and rear by the previous owner. Riding solo is ok but 2up sux. I am putting the monotubes in the front and 13" HD shocks on the rear.
Lowered bike and good (comfortable) ride are usually mutually exclusive...
I am not sure if your goal is looks or lowered seat height. If it's looks, get shorter shocks (Street Glide shocks fit right in). If it is lower seat height, get a lower seating seat and leave the shocks alone.
I went with the 13" touring shocks and the 2010 SE seat (Chicago HD), which seats lower, and my seating height is same as stock but I have 1" more travel... My bike looks and rides great!
