I've had both batwing and sharks , I wouldn't go back to a batwing myself the difference in handling is that much better

Two headlights is the issue?

You can always unplug the left one.

Unplugging the right one would just be ridiculous.

Yup, frame mount is the only true fairing. Batwing just a shield on steroids.

Have to have a remote for the radio....with my 31 inch sleeve length, I have to stand up to reach the RG radio buttons..

There is a LOT of fairing on a RG in a Gold Wing kind of way....I couldn't peep under it to line up the ramp & chock the few times I trailered...

I like my 011 bat wing....for now..LOL

Gotta love the Glide. I put the baffles on from the CVO (clip on the crash bar and the front tank mounts) and installed a 12" windshield and all is good. The 103 just purrs down the highway at 2800 rpms in 6th at 75mph and I can hear the radio just fine. As for reaching the stereo, other than to turn it on all the controls are on the handlebars.

It cuts thru the wind real well and once you get used to the fairing not moving and being stretched out in front of you it's all good. Fiance was upset I sold the Night Train till she took the first ride on the Glide.

See, this is why we have two.

End of debate.

Some negative SG comments don't take into account windshield height, hand position and helmet selection.

The RG does handle "better" but I prefer the design and styling of the batwing fairing. Although I challenge anyone to turn a faster lap in one vs. the other, Those videos of the batwing fairing bikes in the cones are impressive.

The RG also offers storage up front but I like my guages and radio close as well as the view over the fairing.

Both are great choices but not everyone likes chocolate ice cream.
