Easy way to remove cat?
Anyone ever take the heatshield off, cover every thing up good on bike and cut a piece out like a panel to remove the cat and weld the panel back in to keep from taking the exauhst off?

I would pull it off the heads and away from the bike. You need to grind, push, tug and there will be sparks with metal shavings all over the place. The first time a hot metal shaving gets under all the good intentions you will kick yourself for trying to cut corners. Do it right, once you've had the header off once it will be cake if you need to remove it again. Resist the temptation to getting lazy.

Easiest way is to remove the header and send it to FullSac and have them turn it into a sport pipe....
I removed mine, cut the panel and TG welded the panel back....easy peasy...
